Best Cheap Graphics Card

As you can tell from my sig I'm in need of an upgrade, I need to know the best AGP Dx9 card that will run the can smoothly for under $300CND.

PS. I'm going to OC my processor when I get a new Heatsink to 2.2GHz

I got a MSI version of the Radeon 9800Pro for US$200. It runs like a 9800XT.

I bought a 9700 Pro off ebay for 154 US, can run everything at high with 4x AF and not drop a frame due to my cpu bottleneck (AthlonXP 1800+ palamino), new cpu is on the way though.

Game runs great

If your budget is 300 CND, you could probably go for a 9800 pro or 6600 GT though.

9600XT 256mb, all graphics options on High, 2x AA and trilinear AF. I get 50+ fps in most areas, less when there's lots of action going on, but it usually stays above 30. It's a decent card.

Get a BFG 6800GT OC, Fantastic card for the money and you won't have to upgrade for ages. I picked mine up for £235 and they are Overclocked out of the box with a lifetime Warranty.
I get 150+ FPS all the time with everything on full @ 1600x1200
Can't go wrong

id go with a 9800 pro 128 i got that for about 250 and its great and its gets even better with 1 gig of ram but either way its a good buy

At $200, the 6600GT is better overall. If you can ignore the fanboy stuff in this thread, it has some good info.

If you can find a used 9800Pro for $150 that is a great deal also. BEWARE! Not all 9800Pros are made the same. Some have underclocked CPUs/Memory. The memory should be ~680MHz (256bit) and the core should be 380MHz (if memory serves well). AVOID Powercolor EZ's and also make sure you check the mem/core speeds on Sapphires also. SO BE CAREFUL.
