dunno...i remember that it used to be on at 22.00. I have no idea when it was but it was in the late 90´s :)

Not that it's at the top of my list, but I can't believe Malcolm in the Middle hasn't even gotten a mention yet.

The Office
Peep Show
Blackadder
The Simpsons
League of Gentlemen
Father Ted

And may I just say, Little Britain is one of the worst comedies ive ever seen in my life. I watched two episodes with my friends the other night and I didn't even crack a smile. Its trying to be funny, but fails miserably.

I really like Malcon in the Middle :)

Not quite in my faves, yet, but it's definately growing on me. Very good show, suprisingly so.

Trying to think of ones that havnt been mentioned yet. Erm...
Peepshow
Never Mind The Bollocks, not really a comedy but hilarious all the same.
Anyone know the latest on the Red Dwarf film?

EDIT: Oo eck, sorry Tinneth didnt see you'd mentioned Peepshow. Great program.

The Daily Show
South Park
Corner Gas
Trailer Park Boys
Red Dwarf
The Simpsons
Reno 911
Absolutely Fabulous
Everybody Loves Raymond
Seinfeld
This Hour Has 22 Minutes
Monty Python's Flying Circus

I just realized I watch a lot of comedy shows.

No mention of The Brittas Empire? Bah I say! BAH!

That made me laugh as much as it annoyed me :)

Peep Show has to be the funniest thing on tv at the moment. Just got the series 1 and 2 on dvd. Super Hans is a legend!, the bit after he steals a chocolate bar and tells Jez it tastes good becuase "the secret ingredient is crime" is something that always makes me laugh.

Other than that it has to be:

Red Dwarf
League of Gentleman
Still Game

Current Best Comedy: That '70s Show (This has to be a classic show about the 70's era. It shows young teenagers dealing with issues and have some good times. Throw in some crazy foriegn kid, a dumb kid, a stuck-up, and the rest, and you have yourself a rockin show. However, having lost two main characters, its still trying to stay afloat.)

All-Time Best Comedy: Seinfeld (This is the funniest and most intelligent show ever. Jerry Seinfeld's kind of humor is unparalleled and all the other actors are great, especially Michael Richards and Jason Alexander. I'm still sorry it is over.)

The Office
The Office

The Office

Ricky Gervais wins all, listen to his pod casts here!

I heard a rumour that Gervais wrote an episode of the Simpsons that was so popular they want him to join their staff permanently as a writer. :O

Doesn't surprise me, I think his comedic value is at about the same level of tripe that the Simpsons episodes are nowadays.

Everybody loves Raymond is absolute genius.

I also like loads of others, but for some reason I can't think of them now.

1) South Park: This show only gets better and better with new episodes and seasons, the irony and the critics they made is just pure genius.

2) Seinfeld
3) The Simpsons
4) Everybody Loves Raymond: As you get older, you start to understand this show more.
5) That '70s Show

The Simpsons, American Dad...Extras, the new Ricky Gervais series was great, too.

And I used to love Big Train when it was on terrestrial TV. Brass Eye = also tops.

Everyone does realise that this thread is 1 year old?

Don't watch much TV these days, although I bought Scrubs Season 1 and 2 on DVD.

This thread is a year old.

Arrested Development is the funniest show on TV in a long time. Too bad Fox is cancelling it.

Going to have to say
Peep Show again, it's the most original and best British Comedy for years.

Red dwarf..... ye will be sadly missed
The mighty boosh
South park
Futurama
Family guy
Never mind the Buzzcocks(don't know if this counts?)

Mine too! Even though I don't have any Euros, and they are apparantly worth more than twice an American dollar. Man, America is screwed... :stare:
