Please post here. I've been using 91.47 for a year or so (old i know) and i need to update as i've noticed a little stuttering in TF2. So please, go ahead and recommend a driver version if everything is running sweet for you

Running a 8800gtx with 163.44, and I can only play without crashes in windowed mode. Just so you know.

I'm using 158.45 which seems to run in full screen mode following the instructions I stated in a thread I created earlier.

Everyone's having different issues though... there's nothing to say that any other driver version you use won't stop you from playing at all unfortunately.

I have those very drivers sitting on my desktop for when i was gonna play Bioshock, so i'll avoid them for now. I guess that's what you get from beta drivers made for a different game ;)

Chris: i'll keep those drivers in mind, ta.

Not sure what OS you're using, But I just checked my vista 64 drivers and had a release today.

I am using the last official Nvidia driver update for my 7600gs...162. something something...There is a little bit of stuttering at the start of a stage, then it disappears completely after a few minutes...weird.

I'm using the beta ones released for bioshock, everything is perfect.

I'm using the betas on 32-bit Vista with an 8800GTX, and I haven't had a single error with the game so far in 3.9 hours of playing it. It takes a little longer than I'd like to load the menu and maps but even with all the settings up and on I get a perfect framerate 95% of the time and not a single crash or bug yet.

I'm using the newest XP 32-bit beta, 163.69, zero problems and great performance with 8800GTS640.

The latest, 163.69, works fine. (8800GTX and Vista 32-bit)

That's the issue i have although it does stop stuttering after a minute or so, like you said. Had a blast playing for a few hours last night but if i can eliminate the stuttering completely then i'd like to. Besides, i must be losing out on a little performance increase using these 91.47 drivers.

How do I check ? (I deleted the files in NVIDIA folder)

Right click on my computer --> properties --> hardware tab --> device manager --> display adapter --> double click on your graphics card --> driver tab

I have the latest beta drivers but the game crashes/locks up my entire computer when I try to load a map for the 2nd time (server changes level or I change servers) and I have to hit the reset button.

I tried to roll back to the latest official release of the nvidia drivers but then I couldn't even load into one game without it giving me some kind of dx8 error or saying I didn't have enough video memory :|

For reference: the settings I use get me 30-60 fps depending where I am and what's going on with my 6800GT 256mb.

Why is it saying my driver is 6.14.11.6218 when I updated to 160.something ?
(sorry for bumping)

163.69 is the latest version (works very well for me like the 163.44 beta drivers i had before).

improved fps especially for 8800 cards
