BDS is old.

The Professional, a combo of 2 great actors (Jean Reno, Gary Oldman) and killing, who can complain?

Equilibrium has better action scenes than the matrix and BDS combined, see that.

But the best movie of ALL TIME is by far The Big Lebowski.

Would Grosse Pointe Blank be considered mainstream? If not, it bloody well should be Top movie.

I enjoyed Ravenous a great deal, it deserved more recognition.

I.D. is a complete classic.

Withnail and I is my favourite movie and, along with The Big Lebowski, as funny as cinema gets XD

Falling down is pretty neat too (mainstream?).

resevoir dogs is all over the goddamn place. only saw it a few days ago. good film though

Equilibrium is probably the biggst rip off of the matrix i've ever seen, they costumes the action sequences it's all been done before, it was good but kinda of unoriginal

Man, most of these films listed are mainstream. A seriously F'd up movie I doubt you'd wanna watch, and a few people know about this and NO, I haven't seen it, is Cannibal Holocaust. Just Google it and then proceed to call me a sick bastard . I haven't seen it though, just heard. Too afraid to watch ._.

Edit: Also, this movie has been banned in tons of places so good luck finding it.

requiem's good. what about City of God? robbed at oscars in my opinion. some of the best acting ever

omg yes. cidade de deus is my favorite foreign film, and one of my favorite films of all time.

magnolia (my favorite movie)
city of god (already mentioned)
amelie
boogie nights
pulp fiction
the big lebowski (greatest comedy ever)

other people have mentioned great films too (memento, reservoir dogs, requiem)
it's impossible to choose one above the rest.

It's one of my favorite movies.

i don't think the phrases "best film" and "not mainstream" go together. like i said, impossible task.
