Even the mighty Half Life quakes in the shadow of GE. Both the single and multiplayer game are amazing, the challenge, replayability and style, unparalleled. So many weapons*, so many ways to play it. Best game ever.

(* and the weapons are all fantastic. No other game recreates the feeling of aiming and firing a gun aswell as GE. In comparison, FarCry, CoD, Doom 3 etc etc all feel like a cross between shooting a spud gun and opening a folder in windows :/)

I have to say, id software's first-person shooters are probably the best, they have the experience and they really invented the first 3D game (Hover tank) and the first first person shooter. I love the Quake series, too bad Raven will mess things up.
From what I've seen so far, Quake 4 will suck...aww, boo hoo! Even though Quake 4 is about one or two years away, when Raven releases screenshots, they don't change much from the final version.
If there will be a Quake 5, it should be a 're-telling' of the first Quake.
The Quake marine kicked ass.

Opps, I can't possibly forget Quake II, and the Unreal series.

Chronicles of Riddick was too easy....but Halo on Legendary is a blast

I just got Halo for the PC and it rawks teh big one!!11 (etc etc). Graphics may not be as good as those on Doom3, but the gameplay pwns all!
