I am looking to buy a new Graphics card and am on a bit of a budget.
What would be the best card i could get for under $200?

so a 9800 Pro would be the best? I saw one for something like $175

2) That ad is lying. The Shappire 9800 Pro Atlantis is only 128bit.


the 5900XT is supposed to be one of the best value card out there... eaitly overclocks high as well.

Sapphire Radeon 9800Pro Sapphire is a more trusted brand since their pwnd by ATi, plus these have been coming with the R360 core so you can flash to an XT easy as pie.

When games start using 256 that card will be so old it won't make a difference.

They are not talking about the amount of memory....but the bus width of the memory interface. 256BIT vs 128BIT.

5900XT = crap...so much slower than the 9800pro and not that much cheaper. why care about overclocking if the card sucks at any clock speed compared to the 9800 pro?

and that allstarshop card is 256-bit. i ordered it. if they show you a picture of a card with square memory (not rectangular) it's 256-bit. i had to RMA the one they sent me and i haven't gotten it back yet, but the non-working one i sent back was 256-bit for sure.

9800pro 128mb 256bit should be the best buy for the 200 price range your looking for.

im probablly going to get this one. Is the oem a good deal or should i go for retail?or lite retail?

Also i have 512mb of RAM, should i think about upgrading in the near future?
