the tram; the experiment; the 1st headcrab appearing when you don't have anything; the elevator; the scientist in the litter. hiding; the grunt executing the scientist; the squizo zombie..I could go on forever...

Since this is supposed to pick your favorite, I would say the beggining ride.


edit- for the record, after I reached the Tentacles a friend showed me the cheats and I used "godmode" thru the rest of the game. I regret it
Never heard lots of lines, just went thru the game in a rush, lost a lot of the storyline 1st time I played it.

But cheating in SP games is fun for the 2nd time you play it. i.e. the MP2 alternate ending would be far too time-comsuming without cheats.

Another one:

In Surface Tenison, you're runing around a pipe, and you see the light at the end of it. You come out...and you're on a cliff-face. A fighter jet zooms past you just as you come out. That was just...wow. Even the 2D skybox amazed me. I was just in awe.
