This is especially for quadriceps and hamstrings.
I want to build these up, I've already gained quite a bit of upper body strength (by the way, thanks VirusType2, I've gone from a weight of 156-158 lbs to 162-164 lbs), now I want to make sure my legs keep up. So, suggestions?

I don't have exercise equipment apart for my 40 lb dumbbells.

Kicking somebody's face in. Make sure to stretch first!

But I live in the country, only enough people for...10-15 reps :(

Squats and bent leg deadlifts.
The 40lb dumbells will be useless imo......i deadlift 286lb, lol.

Yeah well you're a beast ;)
80 lbs (for me) was a good weight so I could work out everything. I should be getting a barbell and weights soon though.

Do 10-12 miles a day cycling, like I do. You'll soon have rather powerful legs. And sexy thighs.

And an ego that can topple 30 men!

I just barely started working out my legs. Always had a nice upper body but completely ignored the bottom.
Figured it would prevent me from doing pullups with ease.

Look, I don't mean to pop into a thread with a statement like this ...

But I can Leg Press 400lbs easily with my legs. No joke, and what suprises me, nobody here seems to have heard of a leg press machine.

Is they're a gym near you, MiccyNarc? If not, some basic squads will do you a lot of good.

I could leg press 150kg for 3 sets of 12 easily with hardly any training...legs have always been my best body part. I don't do any leg bulking exercises, just lots of running.

Snowboarding....now im not talking about doing it, im talking about AFTERWARDS...when you walk those looooooooong 20 meters across the snow to reach your car...your legs are dying...i mean..it took me 30 minutes to walk to the car, i had to rest every 4 meters...snowboarding kills your legs!
