For me, it'd be either Goodfellas or Road to Perdition. But I'm by no means an expert - when I've ended my Korean movie fad, I think I'll move on to gangster movies.

Also, some of the really old James Cagney movies (Angels With Dirty Faces etc) are meant to be good.

i like goodfellas but i think the acting and direction is much better in casino. joe pesci basically plays the same character in both films.

the original is a mob movie. the 1983 remake is more about drug cartels and what not. its a good movie tho
