Does anyone know which BF2 map is best for practising flying copters and airplanes?

Devin Plant *or something* Really anything with an aircraft carrier. Gulf of Oman I think does...Dragon Valley..just to name a few

I like Daqing Oil Fields because nobody ever takes the planes there. But if you're playing by yourself, no problems there.

Do you know the easiest ribbon to get? The Airborne Ribbon. Just stay in a parachute for 10 sec and you're done!

Is it in one jump or 10 seconds altogether in all jumps in your. If it's one jump you would have to be very high (?).

One jump. But it's easy, just enter a chopper, (alone, preferably, a little mean otherwise) go to 100+ feet and you're done.

Well I guess you could point your plane up and hold the W button.

If you want to practice in singleplayer (which you should, actually) Operation Clean Sweep is the best map. It has both planes and helo's, and even the 16 player map is quite big.

I practice on Gulf of Oman as the MEC. For more difficult practice, I go to the Dalian Plant as the Chinese side. It's both difficult to bomb and difficult to rearm the plane.

Just make a server with one player and practice on zatar wetlands, and switch to the bombs, so your don't ge that damn beeping from locking on to those towers. for the rest the map is perfect for flying, it's big open outdoor map, no valley's or cliffs or mountains, just nice open relativly flat.

use Gulf of Oman...it has an aircraft carrier with all available jets/helicoptors (on american side) plus it has lots of room to take off without crashing into anything

I say Kubra Dam because it has a ton of obstacles and very small points to hit from the air. Or you could go with Sharqi Peninsula so you can learn how to take out enemy positions within an urban setting.

I need to practice bombing. I'm not really good at it at all, but yeah...for some odd reason, ever time I try to fly a helli, or plane, my team loses the round. If I DONT, we either don't get spanked so hard, or we win. So with that said, I generally don't fly :( It's such bad luck for me.

I hate flyig kubra dam, becasdue of all the obnstacles, bur for some reason I always get the most bomb kills there, I suggest kubra dam. The hardest to bomb IMO is Fushe Pass

kubra because of the obstacles
learn to bomb there and you will be a god

For bombing use Gulf of Oman and bomb the bases on the beach, use the different camera angles to see what you hit?

But that is so hard, basicly you can't press fast enough to change the camera angle in time., best thing is to have a friend, and he can tell you weather the bombs went to far or not far enough.

Thats what I was about to do

I aim for vehicles. If the vehicles disappear, I know I scored a hit. :P I am too slow to change angles.

Dalian Plant, hands down. If you want to practice flying, you want a map with obstacles that can and will get in your way while flying. Practice flying at very high speeds heading straight at cranes and stuff and then spin or pull out to avoid them. Best map for aircraft in my opinion, as you have lots of room to bomb ground targets, and there's always a chopper in the air, which means you as a jet pilot gets a lot of points and kills.

I disagree, Kubra Dam is probably the best place to learn to fly avidly. I hate being a jet pilot though, I'm not good enough to win in a dogfight and I usually miss bombing targets and hit friendlies. The only real way I get any kills with it is diving at a capped flag and unloading with machine gun fire, I just wish it was a bit more powerful and had a wider effect.
