If you came up with this list yourself, I'm impressed.

Many of those aren't even out though, are they? How can they be the best if nobody's ever played them?

Also some of those are from HL1, which is a whole new can of worms with many many more mods. That you missed. Great ones like Azure Sheep or Peaces Like Us.

I think I had the most fun with SMOD to be honest. I didn't play too many HL2 mods.

Anything by Neil Manke, or DAV. Let's see your list - I like Radiator series, Research and Development was great. Other addons I like are:

Korsakovia | Dear Esther
Random Quest was great.
Decay (not Half-Life: Decay) was interesting, especially the ending part.
Cyberscape is an unique, short addon.
Eye of the Storm's demo was pretty good (it's still under construction).
Curse is also a nice addon, but I don't think I like it much as I like others.
Mission Improbable
The Mansion 4: G-Man’s Residence is not great, but a good, short addon (haven't played previous The Mansion levels)
Induction is a presequel to Half-Life, showing Gordon's first days in Black Mesa.
Quietus is a new addon. It's under construction.

I never heard of The Great Forever Tomorrow. I'll give it a try.
I have Post Script downloaded, haven' tried it out yet.
I'll also download Dead Shift's Beta, I love Black Mesa themed levels.

You got to clean up that list, it's full of terrible mods - majority of HL2 addons are rubbish anyway. There's even a level pack (The Thing) for Half-Life 2's leak on your list.

Minerva was always the king of the single-player mods, probably to the extent that I gave up hope of there ever being anything else of high quality coming our way. Haven't played anything new for about two years now I suppose.
