Return of the Living Dead(the first one) is a good movie to pair with Shaun of the Dead. I think those two are the best zombie comedies, but they also work as regular zombie movies.

dawn of the dead original and new (i know the new one wasnt as good but i just love zombie movies), shaun of the dead, night of the living dead, day of the dead. ramero's whole dead trilogy is the best there is, yet 28 days later is still up there as one of my favorites. it has more to it than just a zombie-like infestation.

also, does anyone else play the half-life mod zombie panic? its quite good. if you dont have it click browse 3rd party games in steam and download it. its fun zombie action.

An excellent rom-zom-com film, no doubt. Yet you can't even spell Shaun right.

Oh. And the original Dawn of the Dead is the best zombie movie ever made.

Shaun is a great film, but I'd class it as more of a great comedy rather than zombie flick.

Look for a movie from around 1978 simply called Zombie. For a low budget film its not too bad. I personally like the original "Night of the Living Dead". It was way ahead of its time and throughly freaked people out. Something that simply doesnt happen anymore.

Dawn of the dead in the mall, damn great flick. They really based the movie on the characters and not on the virus etc etc.
28 days later is great, but they completly messed up the end with the marines. To bad.

I didn't really like Shaun of the Dead, which is surprising since I'm a big fan of the genre. (Although I thought the part where the fat guy is like "His arm's off!" was totally hilarious.)

Anyway, the best zombie movie by far is the original Dawn of the Dead. I even like the remake alot, although it wasn't as good as Romero's original.
