now that BF:V is nearing release... will BF:1942 slowly continue to die until its gone? sound off!

they are different games, with different things to offer.
I like DC and Vietnam will rock, but I love slipping into some WW2 action sometimes too.

bf 1942 already is dead. I havn't played it since after a month it came out. Now I only play Desert Combat. (and EOD)


And why the hell would you pay for EA's Veitnam game, when Eve of Destruction is already out and really really good?

Bf wasn't all that great untill the mods started comming around.

what Fender said, but somethings up with my PC and DC on a 1meg connection with a 2500+ / 512mb @ 333mhz / 9600xt runs like shit. Infact it runs worse than when I had a 1800xp with 256 ram on a 512 connection!

BF: VN is an addon

I played alot of BF1942 mods like DC and EoD but after playing that countless and countless months I still prefer regular BF1942. It's just has a very good teamplay and q great balance

I suppose its like GTA 3 and Vice City. GTA 3 was a great game but i find it hard to play now i have VC. Its just not the same because VC has all these better features.

No chance, I think more people actually like to play WW2 games instead of Vietnam games. So I vote NO.
