BF2142 demo (why am I making this thread?)

So my new system handles BF2 perfectly now it's just the bugs. :hmph: So I checked out (again) BF2142. I was shocked to actually defend a missile silo and managed to kill 5 people! :O I was then booted out by the "you lost your connection" to the server message. I vaguely remember this problem but I thought it would go away. How do I fix this? Also does anybody play this game anymore?

I tried it, but the game feels clunky to me. I don't know, I just enjoy BF2, feels more smooth, and I don't die instantly. *Plus, why in the future, do half the tanks have treads, and the other half floats?*

Bought it the other day on a whim. Like Pitz says: it's clunky. And the netcode sucks. Never mind if you have a good computer and a good connection (I have both), you still get crashes. Too bad, I loved BF2 to death.

Its clunky, but its one of the most dam addicting games I own.

That's why you have to love EA. Might be you because my game does not crash..

It would be him if so many people didn't experience crashes. Just because some don't and others do, that's just EA/DICE not having the brains to make it more compatible, and stable.

BF2142 rocked, in my opinion. I loved it. I didn't lag out very much, but then I do have a high-end computer. I had much fun getting in a position with my assault rifle.. and once I accidently chose sniper as my class, and a bunch of noobs kept spawning at a drop point, and I killed about 7 guys, (Probobly only 4, but repeated.) before they probobly got pissed and spawned somewhere else. Ah, good times. I did miss the whole BF2 time, (my CPU sucked before last Christmas.) So I played BF2142 a bit. 2142 haters.

I doubt it. But really, if you are enjoying a game, you should be too caught up in a firefight to get pissed off at an advertisement. Now, it would be annoying in Ghost Recon or something they say, 'PRESS A TO DRINK THE PEPSI!'
