But scandal exploded around him in the past few days when RadarOnline.com uncovered that a man was hawking a tape that shows a cocaine-snorting woman who looks identical to Biden's 27-year-old daughter. The seller represented that the woman is Ashley Biden and hired a Washington, D.C. law firm to help him sell the tape.

I don't get it.

How can you judge a parent by their kid who is independently out on their own doing something. Biden's daughter's case... she's an adult. Doing her own thing. Palin's daughter's case, she was out ****ing her boyfriend... parents weren't involved in that(at least I hope not).

Fair game mocking the kids really, but trying to pin something on the parents for what they did on their own doesn't really work.

Fair game though is making jokes about the fact that Biden is so anti-drug and yet his daughter presumably is a coke fiend. And Palin is so pro-abstinence and her daughter is out getting reamed. These are allusions, and are just fine. It's mocking the fact that they have these stances, and their kids are off doing these things in opposition to those stances. It's not however directly placing any blame on them, for being a bad parent or whatever, since they can't ultimately control what the kids do.

You obviously don't understand what I'm saying. This isn't me saying, "Don't parent your kids, lol", nor is it me saying, "You can't blame parents for what kids do."

But can you honestly, HONESTLY tell me that it is Sarah Palin's fault that Bristol got pregnant? Did Palin drive her to pregnancy? Was Palin there and able to prevent her from having sex and could have prevented her? Of course not.

Same with Biden... was Biden responsible for Ashley having friends who do coke, and being into the cocaine crowd? Did he drive her to that? Absolutely not.

Sarah Palin obviously has her own parental influence over her daughter. She's against sex before marriage and all that bullshit... but her daughter went out and did it anyway. Her daughter rebelled against her method of parenting. Biden obviously still has a parental influence over his daughter even though she's an adult. He's her dad... that's always going to be the case really. But that doesn't mean he knows that she's going to be out there snorting coke or anything like that. I'll guarantee you he taught her that drugs were bad and not good... but in this case it's probably not even a matter of rebellion, it's just her being herself. He can't be blamed. Just like he couldn't be blamed if she killed somebody with her vehicle in a case of manslaughter and reckless endangerment. Sure it'd make headlines, definitely, but it's not his fault.

This goes along the same principal that you cannot blame video games for some kid shooting up his school.

I personally think that you shouldn't try to enforce anything on an entire country when you can't get it to work on your own kids.
