Big Elysium 2028 Update

The guys over at Elysium 2028 have sent word of a rather large update. It includes some pretty cool renders:[br]

[br]Here's some information I was sent about the mod:

Elysium 2028 is a singleplayer/multiplayer Half-Life 2 modification set in the not-so-distant future. The singleplayer game is very story-focused, and makes heavy use of cutscenes, dialogue, and supplementary story elements, such as newspapers, to immerse the player in the world. The idea is to create a game that is, in terms of hours, comparatively shorter to other games in the genre, but one with much more depth.[br]

The multiplayer element spit three opposing teams against each other in a variety of settings, with each scenario (map) having its own unique objectives and theme. Both single and multiplayer content will be released episodically.

This sounds like one of most interesting mods. Multiplayer with three teams and different objectives. Deep story singleplayer. Seems quite promising. Can't wait.

I still think the insurgency mod is going to be the professional and interesting mod for HL2; Just like DC was for BF42
