Okay...I love movies, I watch movies every day, I wanna work with movies, movies are my life...

First I would like to tell you all a little thing...some a little thing..........
I just got back from the cinema where I watched Big Fish a week and a half before it even opens in Denmark, so I consider myself a lucky bastard.
I actually hate eating candy and drinking soda during a movie, so therefore I didn't get anything even though my sister did. I hate sitting in the dark grabbing every little piece of candy just to find the one you adore and want to put in your mouth. It's ****ing annoying because you don't get to watch half the film if you do this, and what's even worse is when people around start opening the little M&M sacks just as the movie starts out. As soon as it says: "Colombia Pictures" or "20th Century Fox" or something then everybody grabs into their pockets to get their candy out and it's so ****ing annoying, and this happens not just sometimes...It's every ****ing time I go to the movies! Another thing that pisses me off is that when people haven't noticed that there's nothing left in their soda-pops and they keep on sucking and sucking and sucking and it goes like: "FFFFFFRRRRRRHHHHRHRRHHHZZZZBLBLBBLBLL". I feel like taking that damn straw out of their soda and shove it through his/her mouth and out his/her neck!! Another thing that annoys me is when people get slighty bored during a film they grab their mobilephones to see if any of their tree hugging friends have sent them a message. DON'T DO THAT...God ****ing damnit! It's annoying, it lightens up the whole theater and those who sit next to me do all the time! Even my sister! If the movie is so ****ing boring that you must (read: must!) check if your little piss-ant friends have sent you a message then leave the god damn cinema for Christ's sake! I've paid my 70dkr (nearly 14 $) so see this movie so I don't want anyone to disturb me while I watch this extremely beautiful and unique film! And don't speak out loud about how you think the movie is going to end! Not only is it annoying when people talk loud during a movie but it might ruin the picture for everyone, which it nearly did this time!
This is why I hate going to the movies! I used to love it, but after noticing how stupid people really are I've started to hate it! I used to love this...but I would much rather go the movies like 10AM in morning just to not sitting near anybody! I've once gone as far as to go to the movies all by myself! It was great, but anyways there were too many people in the theater and that pissed me off aswell...

The movie itself was one of the best movies I've seen these last couple of years! Tim Burton is a genius...enough said! And even though people say that his version of Planet of the Apes sucked, I still liked it! It was a great way to recreate the old one, including the end scene!
The story was great!! I love fairytales even though you couldn't exactly call it a fairy tale! I hate having to reviewing movies because I find it hard to spoil anything so therefore I'll descripe it as good as I can:
It's a about a young man called Will, who's father has sick - he's got cancer. All his life his father, Edward, has been telling weird and twisted story about his past, about how he got married to his lovely wife who's name I've already forgotten, how he was born and how he captured the biggest fish in his hometown!
Sounds interesting? NO! But the father is one hell of a storyteller and the way he tells his son all these ****ed up adventures he's been on are amazing! I can only recommend this movie to everyone who like Tim Burton's universe just a bit less evil and more jolly!

DO NOT POST ANY SPOILERS!!!!! I DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO MISS OUT ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER!! If you do then I swear to God I'll hunt you down and murder you

sounds like an interesting film, dunno when it's out in the UK though. might be on in a couple of art house cinema's, might check it out.

i hate eating in cinema's too. you go there to see the damn film not stuff your face! i also hate when people keep offering you food throughout the movie like you're about to die of starvation if you haven't had a piece of chocolate or a sip of someone's drink. anyway, i stick to art house cinema's mostly, and i either go to really early or really late showings, usually filters out all the filth ;)

Its been out in the UK since christmas and although its a visually stunning film (as are all burton films) the story leaves a lot to be desired.

The only think I wanted was it to be even longer! I couldn't get enough of his wonderful charming stories!

Yeah, the stories were charming, but the end was a bit of a letdown tbh. I was really hoping that the stories were 100% true and that it was going to have some fantastical ending so he could say to his son "NER NER!", alas it was not meant to be :(

*Adam Sandler voice* Ahhhh! You blew it!!!!!!

I've heard people think both ways. I'll likely see it when it hits video, for better or for worse.

Well, on the subject of cell phones, my father gets a damn call in the middle of the movie at every movie I go to with him. He's food & beverage director at the hotel he works at, so whenever he comes up to visit me (we don't live together) he gets a lot of freaking calls from his staff of retards.

Most of the time after movies, I'll hear people muttering under their breath about that "loud guy with the phone".

You know what that makes me? "The guy who walks next to the loud guy with the phone". Sometimes I don't know if I should walk next to him after the movie because I get this feeling like he's about to get lynched.

I LOVED his Planet of the Apes. I don't care what other people say in reviews. It's sort of like what my friend said about food.
like i said about my dollar hamburgers, i dont care if its ground up unicorn, if it tastes good, it tastes good

Planet of the apes was awful, but then I was never a fan of the original. IMO the top 3 burton films in order are:

1. Sleepy Hollow.
2. Batman
3. Beetlejuice

Apparently the PotA remake was closer to the novel than the original.

I love TB films. I'm going to see Big Fish when it's out.

I remember when I went to see where where soldiers (great film) and this h0e next to me nicked a handfull of my popcorn :|

Where where Soldiers? HAHAAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! Don't you mean We Were Soldiers?

My favorite Tim Burton films are:

1. The Nightmare Before Christmas
2. Edward Scissorhand
3. Ed Wood
4. Mars Attacks!
5. Batman & Batman Returns
6. Beetlejuice
7. Pee Wee's Big Adventure
8. Sleepy Hollow
9. Planet of the Apes

I don't know where to place Big Fish? I loved it, but still The Nightmare Before Christmas was better and Edward Scissorhand has got Tim Burton's weird and awkward enviroments. I don't know... I'll have to see it again before I compare it to his other works. One thing that I was missing was Tim Burton's classic evil pictures like in The Nightmare Before Christmas, because some of those scenes were nearly all black and white.

i agree with all the **** u said bout ppl doin stuff in cinemas, frank. i was watching LOTR TTT, and a big fat woman was siotting next to me who hadnt read the books and everytime gandalf did ANYTHING she said
"OOOOHH NOOO!!! GANNDAAALF!!!! hes going down with all the horses OoOoOoOHHH!!!! HE MADE IT!!!!
i felt like saying "HE SURVIVES ALL RIGHT!!! NOTHING HAPPENS TO HIM NOW STFU!!!"

It's situations like that, that makes me want to get isolated...
