Bink videos and new impressions

DISCLAIMER - Frequent forum goers, forgive me if this is the four billionth post on this but....I can't help it. Uncontrollable urges to share my experience right now.

Ok, I have just downloaded every Bink video, and the alyx and wall Tech Demos. Four words combined into one well-known acronymn...... O_M_F_G
If you weren't as hyped and addicted to EVERY piece of Half-Life 2 info you could find, do yourself a favor and watch the frikin videos. To whoever posted the lame "Will half life suck after being delayed?" thread....... Dude, just watch those videos, look at the frikin gameplay, and IMAGINE the bloomin possibilities.

The downside of the videos?? You will want to storm Valve's offices by force, bind them all with silly putty and dental floss, and sit down on whatever computer (all of them I suppose) has HL2 on it.....And play for the next year STRAIGHT only stopping for sustenence and to let the employees out for potty breaks.

Good God, no wonder it has taken them this long to complete it.....

Yea, Apperantly I am way behind the times This was mostly a post for any newbies that have joined (>400 apparently in one week, with MANY more to come) that are looking for ways to see what the game is about.

And people keep commenting on how they've paid EIGHTY (80) BLOODY (fukin) DOLLARS ($) for the pre-order!!! Is this what I have to pay for HL2? I know there are multi versions but I didn't think they had the prices set in stone yet. Damn, $80 is ..... Insane, better have the best bundle pack ever made...and WILL ever be made. Frikin Battle Chest, etc are usually like, 60.

well it wouldn't really make any difference, (disclaimer: according to me)

if hl2 comes after d3, maybe d3 sales could drop dramatically thus leaving more sales to hl2. Not sure, tho...

Doom III is more likely to come out first. Slight release dates have been said. About a bit more than a month away.

dleidlin, talk to merc about HL2, he's a play-tester, or test-player, or something. Anyway he is the only person on this forum to have played the game at Valve. Look up a thread here in the forum thats called "I just got back from ANOTHER VISIT FROM VALVE" or something like that. that contains loads of info from him about the game
