Bioshock on the Wii?

Crappy pointer control? Erm, have you even used a wii before? I've only played mario galaxy and zelda twilight princess, but both of them have controlled flawlessly (and I've played them for a few hours at a time too before)

FPSs so far have been a bit iffy, but this would still be incredible. As for graphics, the Wii isn't about breaking next-gen graphics, its about having simple yet enjoyable fun.

There was news of them trying to downsize the Unreal Engine 3 for the Wii.

Pointer control is much more refined then analog. Play Metroid Prime 3. Stay out wiibashers

Metroid Prime 3 has amazing control. It's definitely a lot better than thumbstick control.

That may be, I haven't played it yet. I didn't mean that there no good fps games yet, just very few that worked out as well as expected.

I own a Wii. And my criticism was more at third party Wii games. But even Metroid Prime 3 (which I own HA) Will have cursor jumping. (were the pointer jumps wildly of screen). But to it's credit not that much but still even a little sucks.

I also own Zelda TP and love SSBB. I'm not a Wiibasher and ha ha to those that jumped at the bait like good little sharks. I just don't like the Wii's third party games. They tend to suck. (although Destroy All Humans! BWU had very good controls. And not once did I get cursor jump but that's only one game)

That's odd. I have never had a cursor jump in that game or any Nintendo-made game for that matter.

Anyways, I'll eat my hat if Bioshock 2, or at least the same Bioshock 2 as on the other platforms, ever comes to the Wii. For a game that puts so much faith in it aesthetic, its hard to see them compromising it so much just to shoehorn it on there.

Didn't Microsoft buy the franchise to make it exclusive for 360 and PC? How the hell would this work?!

That's cute.

Really.

Me neither. Mp3 controls superbly, especially on the sensitive 'expert' mode. In many ways the pointer combined with analogue makes for the most relaxing way to play a fps - going back to a m&k and pad after navigating through through MP felt rather clunky.

The only shooter i've really played on Wii was the on rails bits for Rayman Raving Rabbids, and that seemed to controll really well. so i dont get all the hate for wiimote shooting. . .

but Bioshock would be the one of the last shooters i would port to wii.
