BioShock to See June 2007 Release

Yeah, I remember the post at TTLG a while ago. I'm surprised it took the major sites this long to pick it up. If you guys want get Bioshock info that you might not find other places the TTLG forum ( http://www.ttlg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=134 ) is a good place, Bioshock devs and 2k representatives post there all the time. It's where the June announcement was first made.
 
I've seen a trailer on TV, twas awesome, a guy got his hand drilled through.. coolies.. Can't wait for this game.. it'll be sweet. Then I need to buy a new computer D:

btw no game really hits release anymore do they? so add a couple of month...I'm almost positive that bioshock will see a delay aswell...of course I want to see the game sooner but if it means a better and less buggy game I'll wait.

From seeing that 10 minute long video presentation that was released last year it seems to handle it quite well, although they could try to improve the framerate which was very jerky most of the time.

Yes, I'm a 60FPS-nerd. :p
 
Meh, still not very hyped for this game. Looks like just another pretty FPS to me.
 
BS, compared to most of the FPS that have been released lately this looks like it will be far more original and much deeper, regardless of how it looks, which just happens to be sechseh, which is always an added bonus.

I completely agree with this statement. Of course I think Gow sucks for the same reason, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I waited to pass judgement on GoW until I played it and I'll do the same for this game.
 
Been waiting for this, hope it turns out to be as good as it looks.
 
Most people won't be hyped over this game unless they've played System Shock 2.

Exactly. I've played System Shock 2, didn't like it so I probably won't like this game either...
 
Ha, I'm coming back from Russia the 21st, getting this game might be one of the first things I do when I'm back in the States.

Yet you look forward to Crysis, which is more so a 'pretty fps' than Bioshock. I myself am looking forward to Bioshock, and whilst I wasn't blown away by the footage (a little...cumbersome some of the ideas), I loved SS2.
 
Can't wait for this. All I'm going to do is stick Isis' 'Oceanic' album on and stare at the water for a few hours.
 
What's bioshock? Never heard of this game. I won't get hyped for it. *Plugs Ears* LaLaLaLa!
 
we are used to valve giving release dates, anything within a few months is good
 
This has been known for awhile actually. Pretty sure Game Informer said June in December.

But if you would see a few posts up, you would realize that this thread was resurrected because it's been changed to August 21, 2007 instead of June. :)
 
I am really excited about this and I can get it after my final exams! WOOT! and I have not played system shock 2 actually.
 
AHA-Lambda, you're not missing out on all that much imo, I find SS1 superior to SS2.
