I use Azureus for any torrent I might happen to need to get, how about you?

hypothetically speaking, which one would you use to get legal torrents?

I used bit tornado to "try out" Doom 3. But I rarely ever use it, so it has been uninstalled for quite some time.

I don't use any because I am not an illegal person!
Lots of legit distributions use BitTorrent.

Anyway, I use Azureus becuase of it's full set of features and plugins.
However, the latest craze in the BT world seems to be µTorrent, for it's extreemly small operating size (only uses about 6MB of memory compared to most other clients that use up around 40 - 50).

azureus is the best one I have tried. Loads of features and alot of control over your torrents.

that actually looks pretty cool, might give it a try.

It sucks so how when i'm sleeping (or should be) Duffers and the rest of the Europeans come out to play :(

µTorrent is the win.

I should be workign just now though :S Easily distracted though :(

I use a modified version of ABC with build-in RSS-reader. So I can quickly check the latest anime releases through ABC and download. And I believe it's possible to make scripts that automatically download the torrents of some series as soon as they come to the webpage.

Really the only thing that utorrent majorly lacks over Azureus is Azureus' huge distributed network (topping out at almost a million users) which is incredibly usefull in the BT world, since trackers go down all the time.

Which is why I'll stick with Azureus for now.

Bit Tornado is TheSHAD0W's Experiment Client

Which is what I use :D
Clean and powerful
the UPnP is quite handy, though I'd expect most if not all client to have that.

BitComet has worked well for me, and it's one of the only ones that works with my school's network, so it stays

I was thinking about switching from azures to utorrent, cause azures is a resource hog. But whitezero's has some good points, plus it's incredibly stable. Besides what about bit ord has anyone tried that, that thing has a built in torrent searcher, thats got to come in handy.

You mean like the search feature in µTorrent that lets you search one of six popular sites (at least one of which is censored here)?

... or does it do the search in the actual BT client rather than opening Firefox/Opera/IE?

I like utorrent so far, it does seem to go a bit slower than azureus because of lack of dht support (coming out in next version) but it has all the features I want and uses very little resources

the search feature is really nice too.
