Hello all!
I was wondering, has anyone ever really looked at the picture in Dr. Kleiner's lab? The one he moves to access the hidden retinal scanner? Supposedly, the people in the picture are former employees at Black Mesa, but has anyone ever noticed anything strange about it? Firstly, there's a female among the group. Last time I played the original HL, I never remember there being any female staff members throughout the game other than Dr. Cross and Dr. Green from the PS2 port installment, Decay. Also, if you look to the far right of the crowd, there's a member of the group that sorta looks like G-man. Is this a coincidence? Was G-man a former Black Mesa researcher? Some have also said that some of those in the picture were developers of the game, like how it's customary for developers to leave their mark like in other games like in Doom 3's secret id brick room at the very end of the game, just before you fight the Cyberdemon, or in the prison level in Serious Sam 2.

I figured it probably wasn't but it kinda looked like him though.:| Any idea who the other members are?

The one you thought was g-man is Slick, the fourth sicentist-type from HL1.

You mean the younger black-haired scientist NPC from HL1? It's kinda funny to mention this, but I've heard on Wikipedia's HL Episode 2 post that there will be another Black Mesa survivor introduced in the series. And some of the main characters in the series, who were also survivors, are character models from random NPC scientists form the original HL. Eli, for example, was the African-American random NPC scientist, whom in fact, was the one that requested that Gordon go to the surface to call for help just after the resonance cascade. Then, Eli was just a nameless NPC. And Dr. Kleiner, then a nameless NPC, was the one Gordon greeted just before the training session that went through his paperwork. He was the half bald guy with the glasses in HL1. Am I correct? So, that leaves the two remaining NPC scientist models from HL1, the one you say is slick, and the older guy that looks like Einstein. It says that the new characters name is Dr. Magnusson. If the other guy is slick, then maybe that means that the new character, Dr. Magnusson, will take take the model from HL1 that looks like Einstein.:E Then again, that guy was already pretty old, would he even still be alive during HL2's twenty year later time frame?

I think that Dr. Magnusson is going to be a new character model that we haven't seen before it's not like Valve to give us a new character that not only we have seen before but interacted based on the new silo screen I'd say he's the scientist in the picture that's next to Breen with the mustache.

Coincidence it's not a coinsidence says the old oxford.

With regard to the picture. Gman no, Slick yes - that's established already though. The Einstein and Slick appearance in episode two is not going to happen. The Dr Magnusson we hear much of won't be based on either models from the very so slight picture of him you can see in this screen shot (look on the left) - http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs217&d=07283&f=ep2_pcgames004.jpg

With regard to further details on the photograph, one face is scratched out you may notice. FYI this is Dr Breen.
