i played the game just fine when it first was released. i tried updating my drivers and ever since then some textures in portal and TF2 are all black (i havnt even tried ep2 because i want it working properly before i do that). like the lamps in portal...or the hay bails and wooden wheels, the trains, the roof over the bridge in 2fort etc. are all black. i tried installing 6 different drivers...4 of which worked and i still had the black textures. i fully updated direct X as well. also i tried deleting all my files in my steam folder and re downloading them and nothing still....any ideas?
