Blizzard has yet another game in the works

Eh, WoW could probably go for a few more expansions before we see a WoW 2. Most likely a Worlds of Starcraft or something.
 
They have far too many games in the works! D:
 
I saw on their job listing page spots on a team working on a "next gen mmo"
 
This has been known for a while. Though I suppose they sort of re-confirmed it in that interview at the WWI. They've been hiring a staff to function independently and do work on a "next-gen mmo". At least that's what one could gather from the hiring page.
 
Hmmmm, kinda want to find out what it is.
 
I'm starting to wonder if it'll be a free-to-play MMO, based on recent comments Rob Pardo made. Though I'd be wholly upset if a Starcraft MMO came out only to have giant billboards for Coke and Axe bodyspray everywhere. Doubt Blizzard would let that slide, though, come to think of it.
 
PLEASE PLEASE let it be a Starcraft MMO god that would be all kinds of win! And why is everyone so against a SC MMO besides the fact they hate paying monthly fees or just hate MMO's in general. A MMO somewhat like WoW in the SC universe would be the shit IMO!
 
I hope it's a totally new ip with some cool new gameplay elements, ala portal.
 
I too hope for a new IP, Blizzard, as much as I love thier games, have been coasting on past glories for too long.

As they say in the Terran Marines, Hell, Its about time!
 
Someone saw the L80ETC show at the closing ceremony, didn't they.

So did I. I was there in Paris. And I'm the one who yelled "Lost Vikings" after everyone had finished shouting "Diablo!"

But I can't prove it, so we'll leave that as allegedly.
 
Im really hoping its something interesting. I have always wanted to get into a MMO. This might be it.
 
The company had previously stated that the project was not a World of Warcraft expansion either.

I predict Starcraft MMO. Yeah, a new IP would be great. But if I get to take the shoes of a ****ing Terran marine hosing down Zerglings, then Blizzard can keep coasting as far as I'm concerned. In fact, I'd prefer it.

I just hope to ****ing God I don't have to fight Corrupted Jim Raynor.

But how else would we get our phat lewt?

As much as I'd love to have a Starcraft MMO things like the very real possibility of that situation put me right off the idea.

Also, I think I would try a Starcraft MMO... I just hope they don't call it World of Starcraft... That'd just be stupid.

Yeah, that would be stupid. Starcraft takes place over several planets, so it would be "Planetary System of Starcraft".
 
In fact, name it something a whole lot different. Like 'Starcraft Online' would be better.
