I think its Attenuation, though I'm not sure if it would be transmitted by a form of inductance or by microwave energy.

And the wireless part is optional which would be useful if you wanted to transmit to nearby cellphones or laptops that could be fed that power. I wouldn't think the wireless energy would be used for infrastructure. I would be interesting if these were used by local transportation system like buses or trains.

I'm trying to find a worthwhile charity online but they all require credit cards.. I guess I'll have to do it in person unless someone gives me a link to a good charity that accepts paypal..
