Blue-shift source has just started over on leak free and need's mapper's to get started plz show picture's of your old map's for the leader to pick you.

btw im not the leader of this project i'm only helping

I advise you wait till BM:S is done, then ask their permission to work off it. Making all the new models, textures and AI for something as short as BS when they are (or at least will be) readily avalible seems pointless.

Listen to ríomhaire; that's good advice!

Riomhaire's a clever guy. I disagree with him a lot of the time, but he always brings up good points. This is one of them.

And, should you be starting another new mod?

who said im the leader i have Opposing Shephard is my mod, but anyway can't the map's be done frist?

Hi everyone. I am the leader of Blue Shift Source.

Well I wanted to get a couple of mappers so we could get started working on the levels. I thought that if Black Mesa: Source liked our maps then they would share their models and textures with us. I figured that if Opposing Source got the chance to work together with BMS and were turned down because of the lack of quality of their work, then If we produced very high quality work we might have the chance to share models, textures, and code.

If anyone is interested in helping out pm me or reply with three previous screenshots of your maps.

It's just some, like me, believe that if you start on this mod, production on Black Mesa: Source will slow because of this.
If you believe it won't affect Black Mesa: Source's production time, then I say go for this new mod. :)

I'm working on Black Mesa: Source, so by default, it's going to be playable.

I was going to QFT, but I'd be making this thread start to sound redundant.

Black Mesa: Source will not be delayed by any 3rd party involvements.

cake & hot - Could one of you guys bring me up to speed on your project? Would like a look.

Having hot help you kind of brings the quality down a bit...

Not as good as actually playing it! Muhuhahah!

It's pretty awesome, to say the least. Controlling the Zombies is like some awesome RTS, while being a human is like some awesome survival FPS game. It's EXTREME!! if you ask me.

To the original poster: please stop abusing the humble apostrophe so horrendously, or I'll be forced to kill your face. Thanks.

That is a good point. I would actually appreciate a Blue Shift mod (however small it may be) as my blue shift disc seems to have been damaged, not from any frustration by the way :hmph:

blue shift was a good game no matter how short it was, and at least it did not have another g-man ending wicth would have just did people's head's in "not another g-man ending god no i don't need another one  " gearbox made a smart move when they did that well blue shift was for the dreamcast but when the dreamcast was going bye bye valve or gearbox pull it off the market for good reason wicth i might add that i have the rare copy of the that game (the DC verson of HL1) it had a few bug's in it btw the fame rate if a bit bad on xen and some small bug's on xen also. but back to the source verson of BS yes a short project indeed but if BM:S team allow's BS:S into the hand of leak-free it could benafit from the texture and model's it's a much to short a project to be making it own big prop's who BM:S could let them on board but it would be a sub-project and BM:S would all call's when the game would be out becasue it's there prop and texture and i could BS:S being out at the same time as BM:S come on let's be real hear i don't think the BM:S will let there prop's go before there done with there game.

sorry about that my mind was doing work for the rareist of time's

BS:S is gonna be RRRRRRRRRHD (Really Really Really Really Really Really Really Really Really High Def)

Blue Shift: Source needs pro punctuation.

Two erronious apostrophies in a thread title. It's a new low.
