When I bought Half Life 2, I had never played anything but Uplink. So I played Half Life 2 first, fairly confident of the story of the first one. Once I completed it, I went back to Half Life Source and played it through...(almost at the end now)
Anyway, I was looking down my Steam games list and noticed Opposing Force. I suddenly realised this was one of the expansions for HL1. (I think?) I knew that the other expansion was called Blue Shift so I looked for it. But no luck. So there are a few possibilities:
Now, I imagine it is the last option...so, I was just wondering whether, if I bought it, it would recognize Steam and install itself there. Or atleast recognise Half Life and install it somewhere else. Or will I need a new copy of Half Life just to play it? And if so, is it worth it?

- It is tacked onto the end of Half Life
- It is tacked onto the end of Half Life: Source
- It is included in Oposing Force
- Or, it is not included at all and I should track down a copy.
