Does Blueshift come up under Steam's "Play Games" menu?
I may need to install it cause it's not on my list.

Blue Shift is not included under Steam's "Play Games" menu.

This is due to the changes to the game code made by Gearbox when they were developing Blue Shift. Blue Shift runs on a modified engine that is different from Half-Life and Opposing Force, so porting it to Steam requires more work. It is possible to convert the game over, but since it's the only game with the new engine modifications it isn't really worth the time right now. Especially since Valve is working hard on things like the Lost Coast, Aftermath, Day of Defeat: Source, and possibly Team Fortress 2.

The exclusion of Blue Shift does make the games list feel incomplete, but you can still play the game without Steam.
