Although, I have to wait a little while to actually being able to drive it 'officialy'(I have only driven it once) because of insurance. I am currently driving my mum's 1996 Jaguar XJ6. Man, the 328i looks sleek as hell, but, I don;t really know the specs on the sucker. So.. any more info and tips and heads up for the car would be nice!

Lucky duck, though I'd rather have a lighter car that's the same price (screw four seats) but if I got that car (or any car) for free from my parents I sure as hell woulden't complain or expect any christmas presents from them for the next ten to twenty years.

I'm sorry but the 350 z is quite an ugly car, 280 HP dosn't jutify it's hight price. Altough I must admit it has some nice HP for just a v6. They should have turbocharged it for more raw power. You could easilly pass the 320HP with a Turbo. And why the hell don't you buy some engine kit instead of that ugly kit man. you can get a decent turbo for 800 Bucks, or at least change the filters oir fuel injection.

Buying a body kit is being what we call amis here in Finland, and it's NOT a compliment..

And I don't like the 350Z, I sat in it in a car show, it's totally plastic, TOTALLY, everything is, the gearbox seemed nice, though I didn't drive it, just sat in it.

I prefer more solidly built cars.

Yeah they could easily pass it, but why would Nissan waste more money on the car? Its not exactly cheap to go into developing a turbo kit for a car, then make it pass US emissions. Decent kit for $800???!?!? Are you crazy, I lol at you. Decent kit=$3000-4000 I'd rather go with the Twin Turbo kits than single.

Right now Mercedes is at the bottom of the respect pool.

It's that Chrysler intervention going on. I like Chryslers, but they are cheapening the Benz. Literally. You can buy one now for less than 20k. Benz needs to do something. They are slowly losing their mystique they've enjoyed over here for the last 5 decades.

Bimmers on the other hand are looking quite well, their image is becoming more aggressive, keeping them strong. They are an excellent platform in all respects.

350Z - It is true it wants to be a Porsche. If you remember the Datsuns of the 80s that is what the Z cars were aiming for. A blend of strong Euro and Jap design and in my opinion no other lineage of Japanese automobile has been held in such high regard as the Z.

As for the latest incarnation, 280bhp is damn good for a 3.5L and enough for anyone that just wants to use a tall power band and have usable torque unlike it's S2000 competitor.
