I'll admit I've got a Beemer (technically by brothers who's nearly my same age, and we often share it).

However its a '92 model that we picked up for a song and repaired and slightly modified. Nothing flashy, just some slight engine improvements. Great fun to cruise around on some twisty roads in.

I myself just got a Saab. However, its no spring chicken: a '92 9000, but in great condition. Again, got it for almost nothing with the knowledge we can keep it running for at least five years. Theres some great buys out there if you're good with a wrench.

You do know basically nothing in the Veyron is on any VW but the motor.

actually the veyron has the same 'door ajar' beeper as all the vw's.

The doors open like a normal car, it dosn't have any start/stop button to turn the engine, you turn it on just like your average car. Its cots a bit more than a million Euros. Even if you had money to buy it, it would be difficult as only particular clients will get the chance to buy the 300 Veyrons.

actually the passat had a W8 in it, it's the phaeton that has the v8 in it :E

most vw's = 4cyl
--so--
vr6 fits in 4cyl compartment

passat = longitudinally mounted v6
--so--
w8 fits in v6 compartment


vr6 is a basic v6 engine but it's tilted at 15* instead of 60*, this is also why a vr6 sounds so different. The w8 is sort of like 2 v4 engines mounted on top of each other.

they aint selling the car, which is a pity as it looked awesome when Clarkson had it on Top gear

and im sorry but my car is just frickkin amazing, has no roof rack tho:frown:

i had a choice to buy that and a computer or a better car, i stand by my decision:E
