Bomb Threat at School today

Well the title says most of it.

There was a bomb threat at my school today and here is how it all happened.
I was in the bathroom getting some papertowls for a teacher and I looked above the paper towel dispenser an there was a message wrote on the wall. So naturally I stop and read it. It read this: There is a bomb in the office and will explode around 1PM. So I told the teacher that I was getting the paper towels for about this message and we headed up to the office to tell the Principle. From there he declared a bomb threat. He got over the loud speaker and announced this situation and that everyone where to evacuate the building on a Code White (Bomb Threat) and go out to the track then await further details from me and or the police. We where out there for almost 1 hours and 30 min. There must have been at least 17 cop cars there. They searched every room in the building and every locker.
After a good search they found nothing. Just thought I would share my day at school.

EDIT: I forgot to add in there that several people had told the principle about this matter already.

Heh, who the hell would make a bomb that would go off from random cell phone radiation? It would just explode immedietly. You could (and people do) setup a bomb to trigger when you call a certain number though.

just that someone saw a box that no one hav idea who put it there and the evacuation begin

The cell phone signal can actually trigger the bomb and make it go off. I don't exactly know why but I know it can and has happened.

Hmmm. Back when I was in school, we got bomb threats all the time. There was one week where every day consisted of 3-5 bomb threats. A full week of that. It got pretty stupid having to evacuate every time, but atleast we got out of class.

Then they pincipal started saying how we were going to have to make up those days by going in on a Saturday. Hah, that never happened. I'd say we would get about 3 every month, with the exception of some of those weird days that had 3+.

We never had bomb threats when I was in high school. Just this kid that brought a gun to school once, but a couple of his friends told the principal/teachers.

I'm in college now, but this year my high school had a girl who shot her mother in the face, a couple of kids that got killed buying drugs, and a kid that stabbed someone in the hallway.....

Oh, and at my university, we had a ricin scare in one of the dorms and they had to evacuate people. A girl found white powder in her roll of quarters and at first, the tests showed that there was ricin in it... but there wasn't any .

I wish my school would have bomb threats Most we ever get is the occasional fire alarm pull between classes,which is hilarious because people have no idea where to go iff the alarm goes off while there in the hall,instead of in a classroom like the drills. Total chaos lol

yesterday there was a rumor that there was going to be a school shooting at my school, and we had policmen all over the school, questioning us about what we were doing. The police also set up a tower in the parking lot and had a sniper on the roof. Turned out to be just a rumor though...

some kid was walking around wearing a target on his back that said, "please don't shoot me"

There was a week or two in high school when someone used to throw a stink bomb in one of the stairwells at lunch every day. There were a lot of people at my school and the stairs were always crowded and it took a long time to go up or down. I started avoiding those stairs.

We always get people who make random papers with lists of students on them, and then like half the kids at school have to stay home.
