Wow... An investment banker bought up all the seats in the right field section for the next two games with Barry in order to get his 700th Homer. Evidently he spent $25K on the tickets but the ball would be worth far more.

The Dodgers are pissed so they threatend that if the seats were empty on game day they'd let people in for free... So the banker is selling off his tickets but he's having buyers sign an 8 page contract that who ever gets it will turn the ball over to him in exchange for half the proceeds when it sells. Last I heard it looks like he'll fill the seats.

I'd like to see Barry get his 700th but if he doesn't at least we know a banker got screwed...

Maybe Barry will try and pull it to left field... Now that would be sweet huh.

i dunno anythign about what you are saying but i hope the guy gets screwed because that is a real wanky thing to do.

It sounds to me like you understand the situation perfectly...

He probably doesn't know anything about Baseball is what he means.

I dont see anything wrong with this... if he has a good chance of getting the ball for 25k and he knows theres actually someone willing to pay more, than thats a good investment. Isnt that what america is about...?
