Heh... was going out for a morning walk, and as I was finishing, I was on the street back to my house. It was perpendicular to a pretty busy road, and just as I started getting ready to cross, I heard a *BOOM* *ERRRRCH* *BOOM*. Didn't know what it was... so I walked in the direction of the noise, and eventually I saw the cars involved in a crash. Three of em, but thankfully it wasnt so bad. Two of them were pretty totaled, and a third suffered just a gigantic crush of one corner of the front of his truck. Stayed there for when the two fire trucks, two ambulances, and two police cars came. Fortunately it appeared that nobody was seriously hurt.
But man, there was a giant pile of debris, and when I heard it, it was freaking loud. Apparently one of them hit near a generator and lampost at the intersection(where people if they were there, would wait to cross) just outside of the Sarah Lee Factory that is nearby my house. And the other veered(the screech) to avoid hitting him, and crashed into a vehicle that was on the right hand side to make a right turn. Thought crossed my mind, that if I went the other way, and came back... I would have been at the exact spot almost of the accident if I was gone for as long as I was. So unfortunately for all of you, I wasn't killed.
But it was pretty interesting! And no, I had nothing better to do at the time I was standing around waiting until all the emergency vehicles, and the tow trucks left with the battered cars. Sucks that I didn't get to see the crash though, cause I was SECONDS away from being able to see it happen if I was looking in the right direction.
