Borderlands 2 coming with more story, better endgame, and more at 11

Big pass on this one, first one was incredibly boring/overhyped.

i put about 25 hrs into that game so i feel like i got my money worth.

i havent played borderlands 1, but if 2 is better, ill be sure to get it.

I practically uninstalled the game when I completed the first quest.

It's not a quest, it's a god damn chore.

Addicting and fun game, but could have been so much more.

Once after that first two weeks, you'll pretty much never touch it again.

I've played something like 40+ hours of Borderlands, but I feel like I didn't have as much fun as I could have. Running through the same level over and over wears on you really quick. I hope things change a bit in the "Random" department.

Would be hard to make a worse endgame. I'd give Borderlands a 7/10.

It was definitely better than Hellgate London, gotta give it that.

Overhyped? Yes. Boring? Only if you played by yourself because you have no friends.

I got it just after christmas, after the hype died down, and I was never really excited for it to begin with. I played for awhile in singleplayer, got bored and stopped for a few weeks. Then my friend got it and we played co-op and it was much, much more fun.

Play through the game 2 or more times. When you start to remember exactly where X item is, you realize how much more fun it would be with a randomly generated level.

If you've played the game more than 2x, then Borderlands = Good

I enjoyed it alot I feel bad for not playing since mw2 ca
me out
BTW posting from my iPod @macaroni Grill lol

Dude, it's a Hellgate WANNABE! Hellgate actually had interesting guns that really varied from each other (AND A SHIT TON OF THEM GOOD LORD), more RPG elements, more classes, more skills, ARMOR...

Plus, you know, it was an actual online game.

I don't think I played more than the first level of Hellgate.

It's online sucked unless you had more money to give them anyway.

I regret every single moment I put into Borderlands. For there to be any chance of me getting Borderlands 2, they'll need to omit that annoying-as-hell robot. And make the general gameplay more interesting as well.

I couldnt help but feel like Borderlands was just a WoW FPS.

You fight and squabble for loot. Thats...pretty much it.

Trading in when I get back to the UK.

[Edit] Claptrap is awesome though. Would love to make a halloween costume of Claptrap and just walk/roll around going 'Im dancin! Im dancin! Check me out Im dancin!' and leaving parts of myself everywhere, get people to bring me beer etc. Fun times.

I hate Claptrap. So much so that, when we played through co-operatively, we deliberately ignored the Claptrap repair missions. Which, as it turns out, give you a bigger backpack for completing them. So yeah, we had level 50 characters with only the default 12 slots.

That's what people always seem to say, and despite playing with friends, it bored me even more out of my mind to the point where I just said 'I can't take this anymore' and went to play something else.

Okay, more things that would make this game playable for me

-real RPG elements
-interesting missions
-more non-gun equipment, and less guns that are more detailed
-customizable characters would be nice since I hated all the ones in borderlands, although the hawk was ****in' cool

Well it could be better but HEY it's new IP Assassins Creed had the same issues and now everybody says the sequel is better I'm sure all the main concerns will be fixed by then.
I'd rather have some new IP's every year then Battlefield 12 and fifa 19 lol

claptrap was one of the few things I liked about borderlands
