Bots!

Right, I am writing an article about bots in games and I am looking for some clarification on a couple of things about Valve games. I know that CS:CZ and CS: S have bots as does L4D, but are there bots as standard in DoD, HL2 Deathmatch and TF2?

maybe for DoD and HL2DM, but i know TF2 is a no. also, you have to consider bot mods as well as official ones.

I think theres only third party bots for hl2 dm, dod, and tf2.

DODS has bots but they are not playable against, they're basically just dummies you can spawn or set to mimic your actions, so they aren't bots like the CS:S ones. Pretty sure HL2DM doesn't have bots either.

TF2 has bot's, but with no AI. They just stand there, good if you need some dummies.

No bots as standard, but you can get third party plugins.

It's unfortunate I suppose because I wish more games had official bot support when I just want to play on LAN with my brothers (and don't want to deal with people online).

thats because gmod uses every ai from the game....
