Hello everyone,

I am the Manager of a mod called Bravo Team.
In Bravo Team your mind is your weapon. You must organize and strategize your plan of attack or defense in order to achieve success. Your team is your only chance for survival. As a team you must defend, assassinate or take over enemy establishments. Equipped with today's modern firepower and vehicles you will get the job done in hostile situations.
You can read the rest of the mod introduction located at the ModDB; http://mods.moddb.com/4876/

Me and my friend have started on this mod not long ago and have come up with a lot of ideas for game play types, units, weapons load-out and maps. We have everything planned out, all we need is a team of dedicated artists to make this happen. If you read the whole story behind Bravo Team, you will understand that this mod has a lot promised to it :)

Well, a little about me, I the co-owner of ClanTemplates.com the #1 webdesign resource site for gamers. I am also the owner and team leader of an upcomming gaming CMS. This mod will recieve a lot of coverage. ClanTemplates.com itself recieves over 10000+ unique visitors daily, and with the launch of ClanBuddy.com (CMS) the visits will tripple. So to say the Bravo Team Mod will be on the front page of both of those sites.

I am looking for help on this project, theres a budget on it and I will invest money into it if it's needed.

Well, long story short guys, we need the following experts;

- Model Animator/Skinner
- Texture Artist
- Weapon Animator/Skinner
- Coder
- Sound Technician
- Concept Artist
- Mapper
- Player Modeler
- Weapon Modeller

Please if you think you can help, let me know. I am not an expert on this and in this field everyone to me is a teacher. Thank you for reading my proposition, I really hope to hear from someone :)

You can contact me VIA PM on these boards, or by email (also my MSN) at [[email protected]]

Take care,
Andrei

People may be put off as it sounds like it's Rainbow 6 on Source, which most people will just see as CS with not very fun alterations (e.g. the fact that you can't shoot while running)

Thats right m8, but I am aiming for a more tactical based shooter rather then just a plain fps. To have the microphone in the game and to not just take shot, set up and attack as a team, and give the sniper to make the first important shot and then move in on the objective. I am just a sucker for realism =P, but by the looks of peoples interest this project isnt going anywhere :(.

I've even been working on a website for it! Turning out really nice, I'll show you what i have done..

I know I've used CS:S Renders on the header, but thats only because we don't have our own. Its extremely easy to change, just a preview! Something I've been messin around with.

Hehe, just wait longer. Whatever your talent is, put alot of work into the mod with that talent and then show what you've done. It's hard for anyone to join a mod without seeing any work done at all, or any form of organized effort.

Just be patient...

Thanks a lot m8. I was actually thinking, making a mod is a tough thing to do and there are a lot of mods out there. My ideas COULD work with CS:S.. maybe I could just get a small group of 2 or 3 guys and me, and we could create some new maps and add more fun to CS:S. I am learning Hammer, it's not that hard at all, and I can make textures, so I guess I will start on drawing plans for my maps and getting it more CS:S oriented. Would be a good idea for me to learn how the mapping and coding world works, before even thinking of my own mod :)

Thanks for the replies!
Take care,
Andrei.
