All you have to do is register with the site and refresh the link. You can use a translator if you want although it's not that hard to figure out. Interestingly enough these CD keys are compatible with any "Games For Windows Live" prior to Dirt 2. Not completely sure if they work with steam. If you have a copy of any of these games you could share them with a friend (or two) and they could use one of these keys to play with you.

The keys can be used in any of these games:

-Red Faction: Guerrilla
-Resident Evil: 5
-Gears of War
-Halo 2
-Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights
-Kane & Linch: Dead Men
-Shadowrun
-Universe at War: Earth Assault
-Viva Piñata
-Fallout 3
-FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage
-Grand Theft Auto IV
-Hour of Victory
-Legend of the Galactic Heroes
-Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition
-Quantum of Solace: The Video Game
-The Club
-Batman: Arkham Asylum
-Battlestations: Pacific
-Fuel
-Stormrise
-Street Fighter IV
-Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II

They don't work with steam btw.

Yup, pretty useless for me as I know no one with any of those games for pc, nevermind any games for it at all.

Thanks! This is going to be my second game from bgamer.net! :)

Is using a GFW live key for anything other than the game it's issued for not illegal? Just asking.

It's useless. I tried to redeem the code/cd key through GFWL and it tells me that it is invalid.

It's a online keygen, obviously. Otherwise it'd work with GFWL

They work... I was able to activate 2 games yesterday (GTA IV and Street Fighter IV) by using keys given from the site. It's not a "keygen". It's a promotion the website is running along side Eidos. They are wanting people to play Kayne and Lynch so they get more excited about Kayne and Lynch 2. They are completely oblivious to the fact that all GFWL share the same Key database prior to Dirt 2. It's not illegal, the CD Key database (or Algorithm) of GFWL is just set up that way.

You can't use the "redeem code" method. You have to install the game by some other means. The best method would be to borrow a dvd from a friend who owns one of these games.

Due to excessive traffic at the moment is not possible to order the CD-Key. Please try again later.

NOOOO!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I want GTA IV!

You're basically advertising piracy. If that key was actually legit than you'd be able to redeem it and download the game through GFWL.
As i said, it's useless.

Don't worry Mr. Cow, I have a second key. Do you still want it? I also have a second Vegas key.

I don't want to bother navigating the Portuguese registration just to get a key.

They're probably out of keys by now.

Like I said, it's a promotion. I believe one of their issues of the magazine came with K&L on a disc along with demos. You just had to go to their website to retrieve a key. I don't see how it's piracy when a website is handing out keys in cooperation with Eidos. If you have a physical copy or a friend does, I see nothing wrong with installing it on your PC and using one of these keys.

It's a retail key. If it was piracy the keys wouldn't work at all. Anyway any old generic GWFL key will work with any other GFWL game below version 3.0, but you can't use them to download the games because they aren't digital downloads keys. Since when did GFWL offer full game downloads anyway? Does it? I don't think it does.

The fields are very similar to english. You could have done the whole thing in the time it took you to write that post.

By the way. The magazine is Portuguese, not Brazilian. And it's pretty famous around here, so I wouldn't expect those keys to be fake.

Yes, it does. Since the last client update.

It is actually piracy to use the GFWL key for anything else other than the game it is supplied for. Hence all the hoo-ha when Sega started giving out free replacement "The Club" keys and people used them on pirated copies of other GFWL titles. So for the OP to suggest using them for other GFWL titles is actually piracy. I'm sure you already know this though.

I'm just trying to help you guys out. The website is running a promotion for a free game and I'd figure I'd alert hl2.net. Everyone here gets way to butthurt over "piracy". This situation is foggy at best. What exactly are the keys intended to be used for? Microsoft's database is just one big cluster****. All games are compatible so they must not really care or their programmers are garbage. I'll go with both.

This subject weasels its way into 70% of the threads. I'm not here to debate it. You can either grab you some keys or don't if its against your religion/morals/whatever. Perhaps if all else fails we can report Bgamer to the internet police

It just bothers me when I get infracted for posting screenshots of a game that may be pirated, but other people seem to be allowed to post actual CDKeys that are compatible for games they don't own.

I understand, some of the same stuff has happened to me. Such as discussing a game 1 day before it was released. Either way it's not like we're posting links to direct game downloads or anything like that. It's a bit over the top if you ask me.

Piracy often refers to infringement of copyright which would involve aquiring the game files without permission. That isn't being discussed here. Flaws in GFWL != piracy. The OP suggesting people use the keys for other games is by no means suggesting piracy. Maybe you lost a key for a game you own for instance. How is using a key for a game other than intended copyright infringement? It isn't. Faults in Microsoft software are not protected by copyright law in this way.

Fair enough, but what was suggested was using the key for other games so that somebody who doesn't own these games can use a key to register it and play online. That is illegal since they did not buy the game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm the last person who should preach against others for piracy, I'm just saying that people on these boards have been banned or warned for doing a lot less than suggesting you use a key to play a game you do not own.

While I do agree it's a major **** up by Microsoft in their key handling system for GFWL, the admins of this board have proved many times (some of which I have been on the receiving end of) that even the grey areas are not allowed to be discussed.

Fine, a magazine are giving away free Kane And Lynch keys, but advertising they can be used for anything but that game I would have thought is against the rules.
