Wouldn’t being “linked up” with wireless control to the citadel be modification anyway?

How would software understand the phrase, “If you won’t act in humanity’s best interests perhaps you will do it for one of them.” to mean bring Alyx over to the circle? That would be some smart AI if it could understand a subtle hint like that, extrapolate and then execute correct meaningful behavior from it.

I've seen a bit in Raising the Bar, or heard of a bit, where a cut scene is supposedly Breen being turned into an immortal human-machine hybrid. Perhaps this is the subtle hint form of this.

i think in half life 3, breen will have under gone combine artificial life support...makign him immortal. And yes, i think he survived half life 2

Originally, when you reached the citadel, he was going to be all wierd with combien tech forced on him, the concept art of it looks quite good.

I doubt he will become a giant floating baby, the nihalnith was sort of naturally like that, because he had the xen trait third arm.

I just think breen would look like a borg from star trek. which would be brilliant
