Okay, so here's the dilemma. Unemployed, however I've just been paid my last week, plus any holiday money I was owed. Not a whole lot to last me til the end of the month (I have a job now), but probably enough to buy one game.

Three games are coming out over the next few weeks that I'd consider buying.

Broken Sword 3
Counter-Strike: CZ
XIII

I'm seriously considering BS3 at the moment from gameplay.com as it's only £25.98 inc. P+P

What would you guys do? Heard any good things about BS3? Reviews? Would you wait for XIII or maybe even CS:CZ?

I'm really looking forward to The Sleeping Dragon, was a huge fan of the previous 2.

Hmm, me too. It's out today (Fri 14th). If I order it now I should get it on Saturday. Tempting.........

Heh, I can't believe someone than me have posted about this.
I run http://ss.theneb.co.uk and I'm generalyl a huge Revolution Fanboy. :p
Went up to York last month to Sightsonic where bs3 was shown and had drinks with the guys. :D

PURE adventure, from the good old days of 1996 when adventure games were at their peak. Point n Click was the control interface, and when PnC died, so did most adventures.
Other games in this genre: Monkey Island, Sam & Max, Full throttle ..........
Anyway some shots of the game may suggest tomb raider, I can assure anyone that this is far from action. As for the congo cliff scenes you have to jump over cliff sections. Unlike tomb raider you don't have to precisley jump. You press a button and you safely jump.
Just go out tomorrow and buy it. :D

I would get Broken Sword 3, i loved the other 2 so much. I got well involved in it, felt so good when it all fitted together and you solved a seemingly impossible task

You SHOULD NOT get Condition Zero.
Basically CS Single player.
CS's foundation is very poor.
All you do is kill people, plant bombs and that's all.
Even though there is no team, you're not really working as a team.
All you're doing is not shooting certain people.
Team work is giving them ammo and health and etc...

GamesRadar.com has reviewed The Sleeping Dragon and given it an 87%, dubbing it "The rebirth of a genre". Sounds promising.

I'll be buying it for sure.

broken sword, its point and click, can't beat that, bout time they began to make a come back, hours more fun and not easy to cheat on (well the old ones weren't) so should last a while and you'll feel like its money well spent

Do NOT buy CZ. I repeat do NOT buy CZ. You've been warned!

Wow BS3 looks amazing.. I have the second one and it's really good..

I'm buying it for sure too.

No really, I tried it and it really blows; old graphics, and I mean really old, lame gameplay, bad AI, god-awful storyline implementation.
