My old computer of 5+~ years obviously isn't cutting it anymore so I am "considering" (fantasizing) a new one.

I already have all the other necessary parts that are not on the following list.

I just want to see comments and feedbacks on whether the parts I have picked are good for their price.

I picked them out about a week ago, so I am not sure if any better offers or sales have opened up.

I also need to get a new mouse in case Razer refuses to ship me a new one for my broken one despite warranty T_T

Suggestions on mouse would also be welcome

EDIT: Spent many an hour on research and price shopping, performance and functions, and came to this new list if anyone cares to comment.

Hard drive is good, Ram looks good, Video card looks good, PSU looks good (unless your're planning on SLI)...

What are you using for a mobo and cpu?

I just bought a RAT 7 mouse and although it's pretty cool, the ****ing thing skips horribly so I'm returning it. I just use a microsoft optical and it's plenty good enough, even for gaming. I have to use a light mouse or I'm lost.

The CPU im going to grab is in the link, its a i5 2500k

By mobo, do you mean motherboard? it is also in the link, i am grabbing a run off the mill asus 1155 socket type for i7 and i5 chipsets with usb 3 and sata 6gb functionality. I am not going to use em, but the motherboard I happen to find was decent and had em, so why not /shrug

I have heard that the 560 holds up very well compared to the 6950

I also tried to go along the Intel line theme to streamline all the compatibility in hopes of a performance boost

It apparently overclocks past the 6950 threshold but obviously OC'ing the 6950 would be the fastest. It really is a great card and runs surprisingly cool.

Core i5 2500K/P67/1TB SATA III SuperCombo
looking at this deal, it seems really good and it makes me drool with the amount of Customization I can do with this all. my PC is also 5 years old
This SuperCombo includes:

MSI Intel P67 Express Chipset Socket 1155 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Motherboard (Model: P67A-G43-B3)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Model:F3-12800CL9D-4GBXL)
LG Black 24X DVD+/-R 2MB Cache SATA DVD Writer (Model:GH24NS50) - OEM

I think for $509 this sounds very slick, anyone agree??

I have the 560, love it. It plays Bfbc2 on my 47" tv in hd no prob. My buddy has an eyefinity card, I guess if you want to be running 3 screens it's pretty cool.
