Buffer Overrun

Hi
I have just installed office xp suite, a legit CD version, and it all operates fine, but when I try to open a saved file I get a buffer overrun error and the program shuts down, any ideas? Thanks.

Was the file saved with the same program and version you have?

yup, to tell the truth I downloaded office suite to see what all it had to offer, then came upon a legit copy well I got the buffer overrun in the downloaded version, I unistalled that one, and restored my system to before the install of it, then I installed the legit copy and its doin' the same... Guess I flubbed up eh?
