BUG: Crasch because memory

After about 5 min playing in HL2 Deatmatch the program crasch with an error-message 0x2406dd69 programfailure "The memory couldn't be read"
Any solution available? Thanks in adv.


My computer works fine in HL2 and CS source.
My specs:
AMD XP2600
768 MB RAM

I dont think there are any solutions avalible for now, just gotta wait for Valve to fix it, alot of people are having this error.

in my bios i set my frequency down 2-3 mhz from 166mhz to 164mhz and it works fine now. I got a 2800+ with 333mhz fsb and 512mb ram pc 3200
