Bullettime Mod, anyone tried it?

There's this thing, I think it's at punkassfraggers.com. It's this Bullettime thing. And going by what I've seen in Substance, it slows time down, so you can get in a good shot before the enemy does.

Has anyone tried it? Or is this thing somesort of client-side hack? If it's a hack, I don't want to have anything to do with it.
 
If it's at punkassfraggers.com, it probably ain't illegal.

You cant be in slowmotion while everyone else is :x :x :x :x
 
It's single player only because it needs sv_pausable to be 1. If you tried using it on a regular server (where sv_pausable isn't 1) then all you'll do is warp around a lot (From what I've heard). Either that or just be normal.

EDIT: Yeah I have used one of them. It's from a huge script pack that I used to have installed. But I still keep the offline stuff incase I get bored and want to own some bots.
 
So this works on a CSS server, that you create playing bots?
 
It'll only be nice looking if all the modelling bullets like in Max Payne. When any other game attempts bullet-time without going through this it looks like crap.

I've been desperatly trying to find somekind of cvar like this to pause a bot game. :eek: I liked this thing in CS 1.5.

(ohh yeah. Thanks to Mani's Admin Mod Forum, I found out that noclip makes you invinciable to bot attacks! :D)

It just feels like lag if it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. Bullet time isn't just slow mo, it's the perception where you can feel and see everything happen.
