Halo multiplayer for PC, for the record, is great(I say this knowing that I feverently hate the series for everything besides Halo 2(they got damn near everything right in that(besides the battle with Tatarus(and the removal of the Assult Rifle(and making the pistol pissweak(and the texture pop in one of the first cutscenes(and letting Master Chief talk(and letting Keyes talk(and letting johnson talk(and letting Hood talk(and letting Cortana talk(sometimes anyway)(and making sure you still couldn't skip some cuttscenes(and having just about all the music remixed from the theme music(even the stuff that doesn't sound like the theme(you see, only people that hate Halo for valid reasons can listen low enough and can think fast enough to hear that every single beat is actually the entire theme tune played at 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 times it's normal speed))))))))))))))).

You guys act as if DLC is the only thing Bungie has given players. For christ sake they gave them Forge, which although there is a lot of crud to wade through, there are some gems out there that keep you entertained for a surprisingly long time. They are free, and more and more are constantly being made.

forge is so limited to what you can do....

also i agree that halo 2 was the best out of the 3.

I could care less about the map pack. I've been converted to PC gaming by these forums, so congratulations.

Bungie really needs to remake Oni. That was an awesome game.

forge is so limited to what you can do....

Maybe compared to PC games, but for a console game it is fairly impressive. And have you yourself actually tried anything made in Forge? There is a lot of content, so its limits are compensated for by creativity.

Yeh, and it still doesn't offer the same experience.

If you've got a bunch of mates together and want to mess around with gametypes, vehicles and a bunch of weapons, Halo 3 does this best.

Bungie says they have no plans as of this time to make the upcoming map pack free. Obviously they will eventually but nobody knows when.
