Being (half) Filipino, I have no problems with what he said. I don't even know what offense there is to be taken with what he said...he has a Filipino cook and he is reminded of Filipinos when he eats. OK. How's that an insult? See, an insult to Filipinos would be more like:

Holy shit are you guys serious? Filipino women are ugly as all ****. Jesus H. Christ. They're not much to look at when they're young, and then when they get old, they get ****ing OLD. Like, they get old all at once and they look absolutely horrendous. All of them.
