Ok, so you disagree with Bush. Now we are getting somewhere and Bush is still a hypocrite. 4 months minimum for 1st time coke possesion? I've seen drunk drivers get off with less than that.

Of course. I disagree with him most of the time. Just because I support the war in Iraq doesn't mean I agree with Bush 100%.

All my post was saying is that to be fair he might not be a hypocrit, because I have heard other people who were formerly addicted to a substance express the same sentiments. How they wished they got in real trouble the first time they did it, so they wouldn't have done it again.

Now I am not saying that is Bush's reasoning, but it is a possibility and so it should be taken into consideration instead of just immediately labeling him as a hypocrit.

That's not really a justification for lesser sentances for drugs, only a higher one for drunk drving. Personally I would say that DD should be prosecuted like attempted murder. I see no difference in randomly firing a gun off in a crowded room or getting into your car after you have been drinking.
 
If a law like that had existed at the time then clearly yes. What is your point?

They've been fair to me thus far, just posting out the hypocrasy on how public support always changes where a warning goes and why. :/
