I put computer together my safe. It saves me a lot of money. However, I can't do this for my friend across the country. So, I want to save him money and direct him to a smaller online computer company where he can buy a PC instead of wasting money on an overpriced Dell.

Does anyone have any good places? Preferably where it can be customized. Thanks.

I've mentioned it before, but before you go with a small internet company for your purchace always check out...

The better business bureau...
http://search.bbb.org/search.html
And Reseller ratings...
http://www.resellerratings.com

These places have helped me figure out when a deal really is too good to be true and the company is just going to jag you.

You get a rating and testimonials of what exactly they did right or wrong.

Oh yea and if you want to find cheep online retailers, check out...
www.pricewatch.com

With those you definately want to check out the company before you buy from them, but sometimes you can get some really good things for very cheep.

There is also www.abspc.com. They are a little bit more expensive, but all systems include 2 harddrives.

BTW: How is cyberpowerpc.com? They seem to have more problems during shipping than ibuypower. I just love the X-Dreamer case.

If you are in the UK

poweroid!

Wide vareity at good prices.
:bounce:

ps i dont work for them :cheese:

Put it together yourself. It couldn't be easier.

I think he means he's doing it for a friend across the country and doesnt want to build it at his home and ship it to his friend.

Anyways here's another place you can check out:

CyberPowerPC did a great job with my pc. Not one freeze up or problem with it yet and I've had it almost 2 months. But yea it took them a while to get it shipped. About 16 business days instead of the 10 they said it would take.
