Buying HL2 Non-Steam (UK)

Ok, so I was wondering if you knew about any sites that let me pre-order the game without doing it through gamespy? Has to be UK, mind you, 'cause, well, I live in Iceland, and the cost of getting it from the US would be too big.

I'm pretty sure that if you send an e-mail to a retail shop in UK nicely asking them about a preorder, they'll have an offer.

Dont forget its going to be DVD only, so make sure you buy a DVD drive if you dont already have one.

I buy alot of DvD's from there, nice and cheap also.

Play are cheap, but slow on delivery. Amazon tend to not be the cheapest amoung retailers. I prefer Gameplay - similar prices, or cheaper for the most part than Amazon, but the shipping is much quicker. I usually get pre-orders the day before the game is due out. I don't know if they ship to Iceland however.

What packages are available for retail?

I atfirst thought it was the same as the steam offers (bronze, silver, collectors), but i've never been too sure at all. Can someone give me an answer?

edit: Just looked on amazon, and all that was shown was Half-Life 2, and Half-Life 2: Collectors Edition.

Are those truly our only options? or is therer another package like there being 3 on steam.

The thing is that amazon.co.uk doesn't have it while amazon.com does

The reason I want it from the UK rather than US is simply the prices. The Goverment charges more for importing from the US ...
