Info on the games for those of you that have been living under a rock.

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick and his merry men in heaven too!

"Gonna grab everything I can"

Interesting... I only ever played the first C&C, which I loved, but then I lost track of the series a bit because I suck at RTS and there were too many releases to keep up with. I think I'll check this out since it's likely to be familiar enough to get to grips with easily, plus the story won't go over my head.

I'm downloading Tiberian Sun and even though I have the disk version of the game I'd rather have the extra digital copy. that game was one of my favorite C&C games and the soundtrack rocked my world

If your dad didnt buy you one of these, he didnt love you enough.

I used to mod for Tiberian Sun.

I've got the limited edition version with the pewter figurine.

C&C 1 and Red Alert bring back memories of endless multiplayer bliss. Red Alert was (and is to this day) the only game I played where you could save your multiplayer games and continue playing later on.

How's the multiplayer?
Slow paced but with some very nice features: A good random map generator and random crates are the best. Crates are great but can screw the game up sometimes if one person gets really lucky and the other unlucky.

It is my favourite Command & Conquer though. I just wish I hadn't lost my original copy (have the First Decade now).

50 kb/s best download speed EVER!

I understand that probably the server is overloaded with many people downloading it at the same time, but come on.

I had all the C&C's, then I couldn't get them to work, so I bought Decades a few years ago.

And now this.
:(

Followed the instalation instructions, but when I try to go online it keeps giving an "invalid password" error. Even though my password does have 8 characters as the instructions specify...

Has anyone got it working yet?

Apparently Red Alert is free now too, which means I actually care! Nostalgia rules all.
