Caltrops Half-Life 2 Mod Preview 2!

Thank god there's actually people that understand. I hope every single one of those mod authors saw that article, and I hope they cried afterwards. For shame.

I think it's from the movie "Pete's Dragon". I remember watching it once or twice when I was young on our retro 80s laser disk system.

It was sort of funny. I laughed, mostly because of the gabe photoshops. Picking on mods using their description blurbs is a bit too easy for my taste though.

Yay for asshats bringing down someone else's MODs, standing from the sideline bitching is loads more fun than giving some constructive criticism.

1: Those mods are worthless.

2: Comedy. Fun. Jokes. Satire.
 
Urgh. What's with people and the capitilised "mod"? Reminds me of my Dad when I tried to explain the concept to him... you could hear him putting emphasis on the word as if to indicate speech marks...

Admittedly some of those ideas sound a little... forced... and the techniques used to describe them are awful, both in a literal and grammatical sense, but I think someone was bored there. 'Course, I've written some awful drivel in my life so I would feel uncomfortable about commenting...

But PvtRyan, read about those mods. That site isn't doing anything wrong, they aren't picking on the good ones, and i think one of them is a member of some mod. You can't tell me any of those mods they picked out will ever see the light of day?

If those mods in question have any sense, they'd take what was written there as advice and improve the idea's. Running off and crying about it wont help them.

Sure, team up with me, we can go see the Wizard of Oz, I can get myself a brain, and you can get yourself a heart. The mod ideas DO suck, they'll find out themselves soon enough, and don't need those asshats to point it out to them without giving any useful information on how to do it right.

2: Mmmkay, it would be somewhat forgivable if they were remotely funny, but chances are I'll have more fun farting the alphabet than reading anymore of this shit. Satire without being funny equals dumb flaming.
 
So the secret to comedy is you can only make fun of something if you give useful information on how to do it right? Because we covered that in the first article, where you have bowel cancer in the year 2050, GO!

No the secret of comedy lies in being funny. So you failed at the funneh part with your cheap shots at names that people made up, (all of this, is of course my opinion) nowhere near the properly done satire or somethingawful, but there's still the option of an informative article, which it clearly isn't either. So what is it then? Beats me, but it comes awfully close to pointless flaming.

But I'm gonna make an article where I post pictures of fat people and write down 'omg fat kid! lolz' at every picture. Yeah, it's gonna be so funny.
